DR. BOB COULTER, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
Thank you for taking your time to teach us GIS Software. I know you would
have had more important things to do. Anyway, I learned so much I could
almost teach it; not as good as you, of course. I think GIS is
pretty easy when you learn the basics.
Right now we looked up animals on GIS, then researched them a little. I had so much fun playing around with the software.
I hated it when we tried the campsites and it froze all the computers.
What i liked is: I didn't have to shut
mine down like the others. I was lucky.
I learned a lot from Dr. Bob Coulter. Before I didn't even know how to make a map on the Computer! But after hearing from Dr. Coulter, I learned how to make a map and to put up the precipitation and temperature on the map and how to zoom in and zoom out on the computer.
I learned how
to find out information about an area on a map and information about an
animal or plant.
Thank you so much for coming. You were so fun and I really enjoyed Arc View.
I really learned a lot from you.
The times that you were with us was really fun and I learned a ton! You made learning so fun that I wanted you to keep going on.
I learned a whole new computer program from you. Thanks again.
I want to thank you for coming to our school to show us how to use that wonderful software. You taught us how to use that software in an easy and fun way. I was having fun when we were making maps. I wish you could have stayed a lot longer. I think that G.I.S. is a great software.
Thank you for coming and showing us how to use GIS software. I enjoyed creating maps, looking at the temperature, and finding out where the habitat of other animals are. I also liked how you taught us how to use the software in a funny way. I just wish you could have stayed with us longer and taught us more. Now I know how to layer the maps! I wish you could come again!
Thank you for coming and teaching us GIS software. We learned a lot of interesting facts on it. It was somewhat easy, but I didn't like the color coding. We were sorry the campsites made the computers shut down or you could “kill” the software. Right now we are doing reports on a type of animal and a plant where you found where they lived what the temperatures were and more. You made it fun to learn the GIS software.
Thank you for coming and helping us start G.I.S. software. I think it is very fun and I enjoyed it. I really wish I had it at my house. Also, you made it so it was easy to map things. I hope you had fun .I know I did. I learned a lot from it. I can't believe how much information is on the software. I think you are a pretty cool guy. Even though some of the computers froze it was okay. We were very lucky.
Thank you for coming to our Lewis and Clark project and telling us
about maps in Archview. I liked how, when we clicked on an animal, plant or campsite, it would show you where these items are. I thought you were very funny and I like people who are very funny. I also thought you explained things very clearly, because when you said something I very quickly got to it. I liked that you came and I didn't like that you could only stay two days. I learned so much my brain almost popped.
Thank you for coming to our school and teaching us the G.I.S. software. You made it simple and fun to learn. I liked how you used some humor in teaching. I had fun learning the software and hope I can use it for projects at school. I hope you enjoyed teaching the software to us. I had fun using the program. Thank you for coming.
It was fun to work on the computer with you. I never knew how to learn about things in that way. When I heard about what you were going to teach us I thought, what is she talking about? But when you taught us I understood immediately. I would not have understood if anyone else had taught me. You were very informative. I also liked how you took it step by step. Sometimes, when people explain things to me too fast, or with too many instructions, I will not understand at all. For example, remember how you slowly explained how to get to the eco regions folder and get borders for the first time? If you had said this instead: go to the black cross, click, go to desktop folder, click ESRI and click eco regions. I would not have understood that. The farthest I would get would probably be to the black cross. You were easy to understand too. You should be a teacher. I'm sure all the kids would love your teaching style.
Thank you so much for coming and helping us. I really appreciate your help. I like how you made learning on Arcview very fun. You helped me understand a whole program new to me. Now I know a whole program because of you. I liked how you were so funny. You taught me how to layer maps and put on the borders and the city and other things. I really like how you went through the steps slowly so everybody could catch up if they were behind. I really like how you came and I wish you could come in again.
