The Transportation of the Future

Mars Millenium

Our group has been developing a way for 100 Earthlings to go to Mars in the year 2030. We are developing; how to get there, transportation, buildings, utilities, what will keep air on Mars, and more.

My group has made models on transportation. We made; trucks, cars, plane,s and trains. All of our transportation is computerized. Not one human has to drive or fly any of them.

What I see happening when we land on Mars, is robots checking over the spot that we will be in. I think that the robots will make sure that no aliens are around us or there is anything that will interefere with us.

Being on a team like this meant a lot to me. I had a lot of fun doing the activities.

What surprised me is that when you get a lot of people together there are a whole bunch of good ideas. I would still participate if I had to do this group again.

What I really enjoyed about this group was working on the new iMacs and looking at cool stuff on the Internet.

What I would change about the group is having more time to work on the computers, so we could draw or make more things.

Taylor and I have been working on transportation and it is a good thing for us to live without space suits.

Our model floats in the air (not really). It is made out of Model Magic, paint, and pipe cleaners.

I think when we land on Mars we should see if the place is good for us to build. We should start building trasnsportation right after we land. It is the most important thing because we need a car or something like that so we can go places faster. Taylor and I will be in charge of this.

I think that the transportation team member that I got to know is sort of like me. It is fun to learn with someone older than you because they have been living longer than you. I learned that people can live on Mars. If I had to do this all over again I would do it because it was fun. I got to learn about more than just Earth. I liked this project because we got to do stuff that I have not been able to do in other classes.

This is us making the transportation for Mars. We used Model Magic, pipe cleaners, and paint.

Our model shows a plane, train, car and truck. The vehicles would use the Carbon Dioxide and turn it into Oxygen. Then we wouldn't need to wear space suits after a while. If the Carbon Dioxide ran out, it would take the Oxygen in the air so plants can live. This was a fun project to work on.
